Robin Thicke's Dad, Alan Thicke, Dies From Heart Attack

Robin Thicke is mourning the loss of his father, Alan Thicke. The 69-year-old actor died from a heart attack Tuesday (Dec. 13) while playing hockey with his teenage son, reports TMZ.
According to Entertainment Tonight, fire officials received a call at noon Tuesday, regarding a male needing medical assistance at an ice skating rink in Burbank, Calif.
Alan was then transported to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Canadian-born TV icon is best known for his role as Jason Sever in the ’80s sitcom, Growing Pains, though he has over 100 acting credits to his name, the most recent of which include roles on Scream Queens, This Is Us, and Netflix’s Fuller House.
Besides acting, Thicke was also a singer/songwriter who composed the theme songs for classic sitcoms like The Facts of Life, and Diff’rent Strokes.
